Dustin L. Van Dyk has more than 15 years of experience litigating and trying cases on behalf of individuals who have been harmed or wronged by others. He has extensive experience in automobile accident, wrongful death, and medical malpractice cases, including a landmark victory before the Kansas Supreme Court in 2024. In that groundbreaking decision, the Court sided with Palmer Law and Mr. Van Dyk, reshaping how insurance companies handle claims in Kansas.
Over the course of his career, Dustin has handled hundreds of cases in state and federal district courts, the Kansas Court of Appeals, the Kansas Supreme Court, and the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals.
Dustin earned his undergraduate degree in Economics from the University of Colorado (B.A., 2003) and his J.D. with honors from Washburn University School of Law in 2007, where he also received an Advocacy Certificate with distinction. He is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas, the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Court of Federal Claims.
His skill and dedication have been recognized nationally—he was named one of The National Trial Lawyers Top 40 Under 40 and selected as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers.
Outside the courtroom, Dustin enjoys playing live music, coaching youth sports and spending time with his family.
